wow.... im 24 weeks and 6 days.....
Today Jason (daddy) had to have surgery. He had to have stents put in his ureters for his kidneys.... Surgery went well... Post op.. not soooo much! He is in the hospital at the moment and i am back at home to get some sleep... so rather stressful day.... just updating this before a bath and bed. Miah has been doing nothing but kicking though so that is a good sign right??
Next Dr apointment Sept 24th. Ill be 27 weeks... my last week of my 2nd trimester.. then... :) 3 short months and my lovely little girl will be in my arms...

24 weeks && 4 days
Today is Labor day! It has been exciting and exhausting! I think I need a nap!!!! although Miah doesnt think I do! She has been kicking and rolling around all day! and that is perfectly fine with me. this post is going to be rather short due to the fact that I am exhausted!
But all in all a great day! Miah is moving and doing great as far as i can tell!!!

Ok so its Memorial Weekend... FUN FUN!
I have the little brother for the weekend AND I get to spend some quality time with my Jason :)
Lets see.. Last night I laid on my back for a while and man oh man was she active. Mariah was kicking and rolling and I really think that she threw a few punches in there too...
Jason had his hand on my belly and Mariah started moving around and he goes
"I think thats her head!!!! oh wait this right here HAS to be her foot!"
It was the cutest thing ever!
My sister called me a little bit ago and was asking what we were going to nickname her..
MIA.... pernounced mya.. but spelled mia. :) so ill start calling mariah Mia more often :)
ok well I am cooking chilli so... ill update you more later :)

Progress so far
Okay Here we go!
Just a quick recap of the events of the past few months. We found out that I was pregnant on April 14th.
My first Dr Appointment was on May 12,2010 (7weeks&&6days) where we heard her heartbeat for the first time! Jason Actually Cried.. :) Also where I was told that I had a Hemorage right below my uterus... I tried not to freak but Dr. Olt told me not to worry that it is sometimes common early in pregnancy. Four weeks later On June 9,2010(11weeks&&6days) I had a sono and checkup. We got to see mariah again( before we knew it was mariah!) and luckily the hemorage was gone :) So she had me come back another 4 weeks later.. on July 7,2010(15weeks&&6days) unfortunatly I had a pap come back with an abnormal reading... so she had to check me out.... I have what is known as HPV. Yes it is a sexually transmitted disease and im ok with talking about it because it only presented itself after I got pregnant and a lot of people that I have talked to have been diagnosed with HPV durring pregnancy and after giving birth have never had signs or symptoms of it again. So anyway... She looked at my cervix... and unfortunatly I guess the way she had explained it was that the infection is covering 80% of my cervix... not good.... but we have been keeping an eye on it!On July 12,2010 i actually felt the baby move inside me for the very first time... and could actually tell that it was the baby! Then July 30,2010(19weeks&&1Day) we found out we were having a little GIRL! Then I started getting these back pains and leg pains so I started going to a Chiropractor BAD IDEA!!!! I ended up in the ER on August 9,2010 and on August 13,2010 with severe abdominal pain. He was popping my back weird and every time i went to him the next day i was in the ER.. so as you can imagine that came to an end.... Then on August 17,2010(21weeks&&5days) I ended up in Saint Francis Medical Center in the Maternity ER... I was taken by AMT. i was spotting and i had abdominal cramps that were physically making me sick and taking me to my knees.... luckily Mariah was and is fine! but Because of my HPV the Dr said my Cervix looks like s scab on your knee... and with it being so sensitive she concluded that blood vessles more than likely bursted and that was the blood i saw.... still SCARY! Then August 27,2010(23weeks&&1day) I had another Sono at the dr... Because of Jason having kidney failure they are keeping a close eye on her kidneys..(only good thing is i am still getting lots of sono pics :)) Her kidneys are NORMAL... but prominent so she wants to see them again next time i go in... but everything as of right now is GREAT! she is getting into her little pattern and i know when she should be kicking and when she is usually sleeping.... i know how to get her to start kicking :) Finally over the morning sickness (to a certain extent)... but yes i know this post is REALLY long.. and im sorry... the next ones will be shorter :)

Intro.. Sept 2, 2010
So, I have decided to have an online blog for my daughter. I am currently pregnant with her right now and today marks 24 weeks :) so in this blog I will write about how my pregnancy progresses and how she is growing up :) Her name Mariah Darae. Her mother Breezi. Her father Jason
